On the other hand, taking the underdog can be more lucrative. Using the odds De Randamie is facing above, we can see that she is an underdog facing +145 odds. Underdog odds work in the opposite fashion of favorite odds. Here you only need to wager $100 in order to be able to win $145. In short, a $100 winning bet on De Randamie would net you $245 in total (the original $100 plus the $145 in winnings).
